Never update npm package manager
Updating npm without the official opkg package manager may result in broken dependencies and unstable Node-RED.
PickData maintains the eManager Operating System eMOD, a custom Linux distribution based on Yocto.
The CLI opkg tool is the default eMOD package manager.
The list of available opkg packages increases with every image release, that is twice a year.
Below you can view the list of available packages for each distro/image release:

The eManager Pro can be updated to the latest image using SWUpdate.
